Restarting this Blog again...

I really do neglect this Blog, it seems. But, with a handy new phone with a huge screen, (not to mention an ipad), I shouldn't have an excuse not to Blog on the go. So here's to a New Year, new experiences, and hopefully new graces!

Daybook Post

Outside my window...

Don't really sit next to a window..but will be looking through my car window in few minutes as I drive home.

I am thinking...

...about working out soon..but need to eat my yogurt...and book club meeting tonight.

I am thankful...

...for all the special people in my life: past and present. All the memories and experiences.

In the kitchen...

...are dishes I didn't do last night.

I am wearing...

...my spring/summer perfume. Getting ready to switch over to fall scent!

I am reading...

...Rediscovering Catholicism, Surrender!, Imitations of Christ

I am hoping...

...to stop being stressed by work, to be prepared for the first day of Sunday school, and to have peace in my heart.

I am looking forward to...

...cooler weather, the end of UA season, being able to see a certain someone in October

I am learning...

...how to surrender completely to the will of God.

Around the house...

...needs much cleaning. Did the bathroom last weekend; should move on to the rooms this weekend.

A favorite quote for today...

"At first, it had seemed to me that I should distance myself a bit from the Marian devotion of my childhood in order to focus more on Christ...I came to understand that true devotion to the Mother of God is actually Christocentric; indeed, it is very profoundly rooted in the mystery of the Blessed Trinity, and the mysteries of the Incarnation and Redemption.”  ~Blessed Pope John Paul II, Crossing The Threshold of Hope

A few plans for the rest of the week:

...prepare for Sunday's class, work out, get UAs out on time, find some ME time.
